How to Use ClearCast

Getting a forecast takes one step. You can:

• Search any location — start typing a city name and pick from the live suggestions. ClearCast covers millions of places worldwide, from major capitals to small towns.
• Use your current location — tap the Use My Location button and your browser will share approximate coordinates so we can show the weather right where you are.
• Switch units and time format — toggle between °C and °F, and between 12-hour and 24-hour time, using the controls at the top. Your forecast updates instantly.

Understanding Your Forecast

Every ClearCast forecast includes the measurements that actually affect your day. Here's what each one means and why it matters:

• Temperature & "feels like": The actual air temperature plus the apparent temperature, which factors in wind and humidity. On a humid 90°F (32°C) day it can feel like 100°F (38°C); on a windy winter day it can feel far colder. Learn more about feels-like temperature →

Where Our Weather Data Comes From

ClearCast forecasts are powered by Open-Meteo, an open weather API that combines data from leading national meteorological services — including NOAA in the United States, ECMWF in Europe, DWD in Germany, and Météo-France. Pulling from world-class numerical weather models means our forecasts are both highly accurate and globally consistent, whether you're checking the weather in New York, London, or a remote village. Location search is handled by the Open-Meteo Geocoding API and OpenStreetMap, covering millions of named places worldwide.
